How do I cancel my policy?
If you'd like to cancel your policy, you can do this online. Simply follow these steps:
Log in to Your Account
You'll land on the Your Policy page where you can view and manage your policy
Scroll to I'd like to cancel my insurance , and choose Cancel my insurance
Update what you need and save your changes

Within the first 14 days of your policy:
If you cancel your Motivo policy within 14 days of the start date (this is called the cooling-off period), you will receive a refund for the time you haven’t been covered.
We'll deduct the cost of the cover used up to the date your policy is cancelled, as long as:
You haven't made a claim, and
You haven't been involved in an incident that could lead to a claim
We may also keep the non-refundable arrangement fee, as set out in your policy terms and conditions.
If you've bought any Optional Extras (such as Legal Expenses Cover or Personal Accident Cover), we'll refund these in full, provided you haven't made a claim for them.
After 14 days:
If you cancel your Motivo policy after the first 14 days, you will receive a refund for the time you haven’t been covered.
We'll deduct the cost of the cover used up to the date your policy is cancelled, as long as:
You haven't made a claim, and
You haven't been involved in an incident that could lead to a claim
We'll also keep the non-refundable arrangement fee and charge a cancellation fee, as explained in your policy terms and conditions.
Please note:
Any Optional Extras (such as Legal Expenses Cover or Personal Accident Cover) are non-refundable after the first 14 days.
