If items are stolen from my vehicle after I have reported the loss/theft of my keys, are my items covered?

If your car keys were lost, stolen, or damaged by accidental means, we would need you to make sure the car and belongings are safe to try and prevent someone taking them.

If you are unlucky enough to find your belongings have been taken from your car, we have a dedicated theft team ready to help. Even if you are not sure you want to make a theft claim, you can call them for advice on 0333 043 2050

A theft claim for contents taken from your car would be a separate claim on your policy, which will cover you for up to £250. This would affect your no claims discount.
